Well, here we are in the hot days of summer. It's hard to get motivated to do much of anything much less to get your body to the gym for a workout. How are you managing to keep the fitness ball rolling? Like most of you I am sure, I just get it done early before the heat hits in full force. Staying well hydrated is critical too, just make sure most of your hydration comes from water and not so much from other favorite summer beverages that can actually dehydrate your body. I'll let you figure out what those are for you!
It's also a tough time to stay on a good nutritional track with barbecue's, parties and such. For me the summer is no different than the rest of the year-i just make sure I plan my meals, prepare them ahead of time and take them with me everywhere I go! If I don't have something good handy, it's really hard to find something good away from home. What's your dog days of summer looking like?
